When we planned our beach trip I worried about how much of a vacation it would actually be. We have 4 kids after all. 6 and under. One of them is crawling. Crawling on the beach?? I pictured the worst.

Luckily (like her 3 older siblings) a little sand isn't gonna stop Lucy... she looooooooooooved the beach. Loved it. She had a blast crawling all over the place. Loved crawling into the waves and had NO FEAR of the water crashing over her face. (I started hoping for a little fear.. she makes me nervous charging the ocean and not stopping even when she was under water... and coming up with that crazy smile! Whew.) She was so hilarious that older couples stopped to watch and laugh... some even asked to "pet her head". (??? maybe that's the new cheek pinch)

Anyhow.. we all love the ocean. Love the beach. There is no better place to vacation.. so glad we live close enough to get to it often!

There was a part of me that felt like maybe we shouldn't let the boys chase and hit each other with sticks... but the part that likes to see them have fun playing together and being BOYS won out... judge if you have to. ;)

See that blue thing behind Brodey? It's a stage! They were having a summer concert series the first few nights we were there.. Foo Fighters and Trombone Shorty were the headliners. So fun that we could hear the bands at night... and see the fireworks!

Last Day of school.. 2011

They have grown so much this school year!

Brodey's class celebrated the last day of school at a nearby park.. the sprinklers going off were an added treat!

Such a fun school year and a great way to start the summer!

Kindergarten Graduation

I can't believe this little face is already done with Kindergarten.

Graduation was awesome. They sang, they did a memory verse, they sang in Spanish and then they march across the stage and received their diplomas. So adorable.

Mothers Day lunches

Mother's Day was super fun this year.. especially since I got to go to TWO lunches with my two favorite sons! :) Brodey's was first...

I had to wear a dress... but HE unfortunately choose (and insisted on) wearing a skull tshirt with ratty old jeans. The other kids were wearing ties and dresses. Of course he didn't care and I love him anyway :).

The next day was Brock's mother's day lunch.. he was so excited!

I had such a fun time with my boys... lucky lucky am I to have TWO wonderful sons!
