Fun at the Aquarium!

This morning we packed up our things and headed out to the GA Aquarium to meet up with some fun friends and see some fish! The boys were so excited.. they didn't even mind the hour long drive in the pouring rain and serious Atlanta traffic to get there. We had an interesting time getting from the parking deck into the aquarium with one tiny umbrella... but we made it, and they didn't seem to mind being soaking wet!

They all had such a blast! Brodey's favorite were the sharks and Brock's were the jellyfish.
Lyla loved everything. She ooh'd and ahh'd and squealed and clapped... very cute.
Here she is jumping up and down in her stroller with excitement..

So fun! Thanks Ann for finding us such a deal so we could go for so cheap!!

Multi-tasking... it isn't for everyone.

Last night I thought I would give all the kids haircuts AND baths at the same time. I loaded Lyla into the bathtub to play while I cut Brock's hair (in the bathroom of course, no worries... we don't leave her unattended in the tub!). Brodey was sitting on the side of the tub waiting for his turn. In the middle of Brock's hair cut Lyla poo-pooed in the tub... fun. So I snatched her out quick and while cleaning out the tub, Brodey thought he would give me a head start on his hair cut and took a HUGE cut of hair right from the top of his head. There was no saving it... the rest had to be cut... SHORT. I think he looks good with short hair, but he was very disappointed this morning that it hadn't already grown back. He cried and thought maybe his friend Logan wouldn't recognize him! Poor buddy... I think he will get used to it quick though. From now on haircuts will NOT be given during bath time.

(he looks like such a big kid now!) :(

Coker Tree Farm 2009

The Friday after Thanksgiving was a big day for us! I got up and did almost all of our Christmas shopping at 4am and still made it home by 9 to head to the tree lot to pick out our Tree. The weather was perfect and we had a fun time running around looking for the perfect tree.
Here is Brodey admiring this one... this wasn't the one though. (according to him)
Brock liked this little Charlie Brown tree

This was the one we came home with... it is perfect! For the first time ever we got it in the stand and standing STRAIGHT on the first try. Amazing perfect tree.

Merry Christmas!!

It's a.....

Healthy baby!! As usual, we did not find out the gender of our baby... but we were VERY HAPPY to hear that everything about the baby looks perfect and healthy. Boy or girl... we are very excited!!

The boys are both saying it's a boy, and his name will be "Logan"... so cute. I'm also guessing boy... I really want to use the name Henry... Jeff has no guess. He is just excited about being the father of FOUR!

Here we all are waiting in the waiting room... Brodey was thrilled. He kept saying, "We are having another baby!!! I'm so excited!!" Then he got really serious and asked if it was going to be really scary when the baby came out. Poor guy thought the baby was going to be born that day! He was disappointed but got over it quickly when we saw the sonogram. They both did much better this time than they did with Lyla's sonogram!

Super Camo-Boy

Thats what he calls himself when he dresses like this...
